In the final essay, you will also be using secondary source information in your writing. Generally, there are three ways you can do this: by quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing.

Primary sources are written or created during the time under study documents. It includes original documents, creative works, relics or artifacts. Secondary sources are interprets and analyzes primary sources. It includes pictures, quotes or graphics of primary sources in them and publications.
ReplyDeleteTaking the unchanged sentence(s), with the name of who told it and using them is quoting. Telling what the sentence(s) told, with another way(with changing the sentence(s)) is paraphrasing.
Telling something briefly and generally without details is summarizing.
1. Primary sources are existed articles, arts, published books and so on. The secondary sources are the opinions, ideas, comments or something we thinking by ourselves, Such like quoting, paraphrasing or summarizing.

3. Paraphrasing is explaining. We should paraphrase the terms or some situations which was not clear enough.
4. Summarizing is the conclusion with the opinions.
Primary Source is the original information or materials without the personal opinion.

Primary sources are original materials. They are from a document, speech, audio, Interviews or other sort of evidence written under investigation. They are created by who experience this events or condition. They usually present original thinking, discovery or the information.

Quoting is not own words and ideas. This is borrowing from what someone has already said.
Paraphrasing is using facts from any resources.
Summarizing is rewriting someone's ideas in my own words.
